It is no longer news famous presenter Frank Edoho is no more the host as must watch, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire makes a return.

The intensely popular programme makes a return with Airopay as the new sponsor after former financier MTN pulled out.

Two major changes come with the return of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire: the prize money is slashed from N10million to N5million and after 13years, Frank Edoho is no longer a part of the presenter.

Checks by societynowng.com revealed economic reasons forced out Edoho.

He was told to receive a pay cut in order to continue as host by programme rights owner Ultima Limited but Edoho turned down the offer.

The presenter is said to have opted to let go than experience a reduction in the value of his remuneration with the programme concept owner he is under contract with.

Edoho confirmed “negotiation broke down” for not making a return with Who Wants To Be A Millionaire in a recent social media post.

But he was silent on details surrounding the development.
