Details coming to fore have revealed how deposed Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi was separated from his family at the point of his banishment.

Societynow.ng gathered that friends of the deposed Emir made arrangements to be taken to Lagos from Kano immediately he knew his removal from office was inevitable.

The former Emir’s friends were said to have provided transport – chartered flight – to enable actualize this move.

Details available, however, revealed that the commissioner of police and other law enforcers tasked with enforcing the deposition and banishment of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi insisted on a contrary arrangement.

Societynow.ng gathered that the commissioner of police and his team insisted the instruction they have is to take Sanusi to Nassarrawa state.
