How Demola Adeleke, Supporters Spiritually Prepared For Today’s Verdict In Osun Guber Dispute

Today is the day for the much-anticipated verdict in the Osun state gubernatorial dispute.

Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Demola Adeleke is challenging the declaration of incumbent Governor Gboyega Oyetola as the winner of the September 2018 gubernatorial election by the Independent Electoral Commission INEC.

The Osun State Governorship Election Tribunal sitting in Apo, Abuja rules on the matter today.

Societynow.ng, however, learned that ahead of the ruling Adeleke and his supporters went spiritual.

Sources confirmed that the gubernatorial candidate and his followers embarked on seven days and three days fasting sessions aimed at securing a favourable verdict.

Societynow.ng gathered that the fasting was rounded off with a special prayer in Ede, Osun state.

Ede is the political base of Demola Adeleke.

Societynow.ng learned that the prayer was held yesterday – barely 24hours to the expected verdict- with a mixture of Adeleke’s supporters, fans, family and party men as partakers.
