The information available to societynow.ng revealed that the power behind Ocean Marine Solutions placed a good bet but came up short.

Societynow.ng learned that in the build-up to the Liberia presidential election that brought George Weah and his Vice Jewel Taylor to power in January 22, 2018, Captain Hosa – a trained commercial flight pilot turned business mogul – was approached to help with campaign funds.

The contact person was Omosede Igbinedion, a former girlfriend of Weah.

Insiders disclosed that Omosede spoke with her brother Bright who enjoyed an extraordinary relationship with Hosa.

Societynow.ng learned that in exchange for the support of campaign fund Captain Hosa negotiated for ‘’Oil Business’’ if Weah became President.

Insiders disclosed Hosa made $3million available to the campaign of George Weah based on this arrangement.

‘’The money was taken to Weah in Hosa’s private Jet’’ a source disclosed.

Insiders disclosed that for reasons that Hosa still finds confounding Weah has refused to stick to his part of the arrangement since he became President in January 2012.

Societynow.ng learned that the initial arrangement was to give the Liberia President a bit of time to settle in the office before he fulfills the arrangement.

‘’But Hosa became alarmed when Weah did not recognize his support in any of his acknowledgments and did not reach out to him, even for a courtesy thank you after he became president and also did not arrange for a meeting when he came to Nigeria’’ societynow.ng learned.

Hosa is said to have mounted pressure on sir Gabriel Igbinedion’s daughter, Omosede who served as the contact but the chain reaction of the effort is said to have alienated Weah.

‘’As things stand, except divine intervention comes, the deal is considered off the table based on the tension it has created among the stakeholders, especially Weah and the $3million campaign support down the drain’’ societynow.ng learned.

Sources, however, claim that Captain Hosa who has Evelyn and Nosa to his name has his first and second wife is still mulling how to recoup his investment.
