Babatunde Gbadamosi, the man with the burning ambition to become the governor of Lagos State has been arrested for breaking the law.

He was one of the guests at the infamous house party staged by actress Funke Akindele that broke the law of social distancing and lockdown put in place by the Federal – and Lagos State – Government.

The law stipulates a sit home for residents and is against the gathering of people at any place in the fierce fight against the global threat to wellbeing known as Coronavirus.

Funke Akindele and her hubby, JJC Skillz (Abdulrasheed Bello) admitted their guilt for breaking the law when they were arrested guilty in court which resulted in a conviction with a sentence of 14 days of community service, a fine of N100,000k each and isolation at a facility to be determined by the state.

They were ordered to provide the names and contacts of co-offenders defined as all the guests that attended the party that was against the law.

This development resulted in the arrest of Gbadamosi, who was a gubernatorial aspirant in Lagos state and has great plans of taking another shot at becoming the governor of Lagos State in the nearest future.

Societynow.ng checks revealed that should he be prosecuted and convicted, the development would effectively put an end to Gbadamosi’s gubernatorial ambition.

Learned minds confirmed to societynow.ng that Gbadamosi – like Funke Akindele and her husband – faces a criminal charge and a conviction bars him from elective positions as “enshrined” in the law of the land.
