How Amosun Celebrated Tinubu’s Birthday

Emerging details have revealed how the former Governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun celebrated the birthday of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria clocked 72 years on Friday, March 29, 2024.

A presidential statement issued on March 24, 2024, however, declared that “As the leader of our country, President Tinubu in deference to these challenging times will not host any birthday event and does not want any of his associates and numerous well-wishers across the country to organise any celebratory event on his behalf or in his name.”

The information at hand revealed that although he abided by the directive, Amosun made it a point of duty to put a phone call across to President Tinubu to express his birthday wishes and assure him of his continued commitment to helping him make Nigeria a better place.

Yet to be confirmed information claim Amossun also did charity, anonymously, in the name of the President.

Multiple sources confirm that Amosun usually does his charity away from prying eyes as a matter of personal conviction – and faith.

Amosun was a Presidential aspirant who stepped down his ambition to galvanize support for Tinubu to emerge as Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 election and later President of Nigeria.
