‘’He Was So Humble, Nearly Lying On The Floor To Greet Us’’ Abuja Task Force Chairman, Ikharo Attah Describes Naira Marley’s Conduct At Arraignment Over Jabi Concert

Ikahro Attah, the Chairman of the Abuja Task Force that handled the prosecution of Singer Naira Marley for flouting Covid-19 safe keep protocol has described the conduct of the accused when he faced trial.

‘’He was so humble. Nearly lying (postrating)on the floor to greet us’’ the Task Force Chairman stated.

Ikharo who called in to the Friday, August 7, 2020 edition of Journalist Hangout, the Television program on TVC disclosed that the conduct of Naira Marley during his prosecution was different from perception as leader of the anti-social individuals known as ‘’Marlian’’.

‘’He (Naira Marley) was sober’’ Baba Kolade – Otitotu a regular fixture on journalist hangout interjected in the course of Attah’s narration.

The singer real name Azeez Fashola who reported himself to the police command in Lagos State was taken to Abuja to answer the charges against him at a mobile court on the morning of Friday, August 8, 2020.

He pleaded guilty to the charges against and was fined N200,000 (Two Hundred Thousand Naira).

Naira Marley’s arrangement is the fallout of the public outcry over his performance at a music concert in Abuja – Jabi Mall- during the Covid-19 lockdown.

The public was especially miffed that a private charter company, Executive Jets flew Naira Marley and his crew to Abuja for the concert under the false premise of taking a Judge from Lagos to Abuja on essential duty.
