On Friday June 10 2011 a baffling scenario came to be in Victoria Island Lagos State.

Chrome a new club was launched. The initiative tagged the product of the efforts of efforts of Ladi Akindele and Charles Ahize sprout out of the ashes of another club, Trybecca.

While the opening ceremony of the club was underway- Deuces owned and managed by Lanre Nzeribe, the

popular man about town and half brother of part owner of Chrome- Ladi Akindele suffered a peculiar fate. At about 2.oo a.m, men of the Lagos State ministry of environment stormed the place and made a shocking declaration- for environmental reasons the A-list fun place was shut down!

It is instructive to note that prior to this development the A-list fun place enjoy the rating of the Clubs’ club with its arresting posh ambience and inviting services.

Club owner Lanre Nzeribe was said to have allegedly frantically placed a call to Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola who reportedly ordered the reopening of the club within thirty minutes of closure.

And wait for this, investigations by Nzeribe linked his half brother and his newly opened Chrome partners to the narrow escape ordeal!

That is the nature of the battle currently going on between sons of the same mother but different fathers- Lanre Nzeribe and Ladi Akindele.

Investigations conducted by www.societynowng.com revealed that the fierce battle raging between the two brothers has roots in a business deal recently gone sour.

Ladi and Lanre were tagged partners in the club that later transformed into Deuces.

They were said to have quarreled and gone their separate ways over money problem.

‘the main bone of contention between them was how money was shared based on who brought in this deal or that deal and what effort was put in’ a source squealed.

Nzeribe told confidantes that his brother was bent on killing his business from within and to survive he has to counter his every alleged mismanagement move.

Sources claimed at the height of the discord controversial night business personae,Ahmed Uhwubetine waded in and lured Ladi to partner Charles Ahize in the Chrome night club initiative.

With a new base to operate Ladi has now launched an offensive to run his half brother out of town with the salvo of harassment and shut down of the latter’s business by agent of the Lagos State Ministry of Enviroment based on allegations of pollution.

Sources claimed with his discovery of those behind the move Nzeribe has equally vowed to pay them back in like sum- and close watchers are keenly watching to se how the battle will rage.
