The Osun state chapter of the All Progressives Congress has fixed it’s gubernatorial shadow election for Thursday, July 19 2018.

The development leaves just three days for appeal by those against whatever the outcome turns out to be.

Insiders claim this has always been the agenda of state Governor Rauf Aregbesola who is alleged to be very keen to clinch the party’s ticket for his chief of staff Gboyega Oyetola.

Insiders, however, insist he may have actualized his agenda for a last minute shadow election, Aregbesola is definitely in for a stormy process.

Sources confirmed his support base is shattered as commissioners and other supposedly loyal party chieftains openly support other aspirants to clinch the party’s ticket.

Societymow.ng gathered the opposition against Aregbesola within his party appear to have a common agenda – ‘’Stop the governor from giving the party’s ticket to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s stepbrother Oyetola’’.

According to official information available to societynowng.com, the sales of forms is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 9, while screening of aspirants is pegged for Thursday, July 12 and Friday, July 13.

The shadow election is pegged for Thursday, July 19 and Primary election earmarked for Saturday, July 21 to Monday, July 23.

Monday July 23 is INEC’s deadline for all issues relating to primary election.
