The news is all over town…the marriage of Aisha daughter of ex military president, Ibrahim Babangida to former governor of Zamfara state, Aliyau Shinkafi has crashed.

This makes it the second matrimony Aisha got involved in within the last ten years to go this way.

She was formally wedded to Basheer Garba- the union solemnised in a ceremony labelled a celebration of wealth and influence barely lasted five years.

The blame for the collapsed first marriage was laid at Aisha’s door step.

She couldn’t manage the responsibility of been a mother- and relishing happy hours. And she was also alleged not to be ready to step down the pedestal of being IBB’s daughter , even to give the marriage a chance.

Insiders alleged angst over ‘cost’ of living and shared responsibilities did the first marriage in.

Pieces of information filtering in revealed – the reasons behind the crash of this second matrimony bordered on some of the ones that collapsed the first, but with a major factor thrown into the mix – the allure of power.

Insiders revealed this was the major reason she was willing to become the former governor’s wife number 3.

Findings by societynowng.com revealed, the permutation then was that politician Shinkafi had a ‘great political future’. The Babangida’s aspire to have one of their own in exulted political position – with the presidency very much in mind.

With Muhammed Babangida not that political active- Shinkafi appeared a good candidate to back, especially with the association solidified via marriage.
