Gov Sanwo-Olu Surprises Deputy Hamzat During Eid-Il-Fitri Celebration

The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu surprised his deputy Obafemi Hamzat during the Eid-Il-Fitri celebration.

Societynow.ng learned that the governor paid a surprise visit to the residence of the deputy governor to celebrate the end of Raman with him.

Hamzat is a staunch Muslim while Sanwo-Olu is a Christian.

The opportunity naturally afforded the two top government administrators to “jaw jaw” on what their administration has done and needs to do.

An elated Hamzat posted on his social media handle regarding the surprise visit by Sanwo-Olu “Thank you my Governor and friend Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the special visit as we celebrated #EidAlFitr in my home today. 

I pray that Allah grants you more wisdom and strength as we guide Lagos through these extraordinary times.
