The Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago has a new appellation.

The new appendage has also become a part of his official communication.

The 49-year-old is now known as “the Farmer Governor”.

“Farmer Governor” has become permanent on the headlines of statements issued by his image minders.

The moniker which started simply as “Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago” has now transformed into “Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago”.

The Governor adopted the added identity in the second week of December 2023 as a restatement to his administration making agricultural initiatives a priority.
