The administration of Governor Badaru Abubakar has made its position known in the midst of raging allegations of a plan to scrap the N30,000 minimum to civil servants in Jigawa state.

Commissioner for Finance Babangida Umar Gansta reacting to the revalidation exercise that sparked off the allegations explained that it is “is only meant to update the data of all the state workforce”

The Commissioner according to a report monitored by societynow.ng on dailypost.ng made the explanation as the guest on a Radio Programme.

Gansta reportedly insisted that “despite the economic challenges facing the country, the state has no intention to stop payment of the minimum wage like other states.
