Gbenga Daniel Shows Political Weight At Reception For Ministers

Senator representing Ogun East, Gbenga Daniel on Monday, August 20, 2023, showed his political weight at the reception organized for new Ministers.

The reception was held at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.

It was held in honor of Minister of Works, Engr. Dave Umahi at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja; Mr. Dele Alake, Minister of Solid Minerals; Mr. Wale Edun, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy; Dr. Bosun Tijani, Minister of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy; Dr. Ishak Salako, Minister of State for Environment; Dr. Tunji Alausa, Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare; Barrister Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Management after their swearing-in on Monday.

The event saw Daniel, a former two-term Governor of Ogun state “hobnobbing” with Ministers and all his major stakeholders in attendance including Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in ways that showed the level of rapport.

The event had in attendance other party heavyweights like Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Governor of Ebonyi, Francis Nwifuru; Deputy Senate President, Jibrin Barau; former Senate Presidents, Anyim Pius Anyim and Ken Nnamani; APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje; former APC National Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande; Deputy Speaker, Ben Kalu; Senate Musiliu Obanikoro and others.

Daniel’s handlers released a telling 35 -pictures- splash from the event.

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun who held a similar reception for the three Ministers from Ogun state – Wale Edun, Bosun Tijani, and Ishak Salako – did not feature in pictures.

Daniel who is engulfed in a supremacy tussle with Abiodun was not a feature in the pictures of the reception organized by the Governor as well.
