Gbemi, Bukola Saraki Finally Agree To Work Together Against Gov Abdulrasaq!

Estranged siblings, Bukola Saraki and Gbemi Saraki have agreed to work together to protect the legacy of their father, the late Oloye Olusola Saraki.

Societynow.ng gathered that this development is the fallout of the demolition of their father’s legacy popularly known as Ile Arugbo (old people’s home) by the governor of Kwara state Abdulrasaq Abdulrahaman.

Insiders disclosed that Gbemi Saraki who is a minister in the government formed by ruling party, All Progressives Congress has pledged to support all the legal actions taken by her brother Bukola Saraki, the immediate past Senate President and chieftain of rival political party People’s Democratic Party in the bid to seek redress over the demolition of Ile Arugbo.

The minister made the pledge to her supporters while reacting to to the demolition of Ile Arugbo by Governor Abdulrasaq in manner she labelled very disrespectful disrespectful her and motivated by vendetta rather than development of the state.

Though of the same father, Gbemi and Bukola Saraki are from different bothers and towed different political paths since Bukola denied his father the wish to enthrone Gbemi as the governor of Kwara state after he (Bukola) served in the capacity for eight years.

Governor Abdulrasaq claims the land on which the demolished Ile Arugbo was built on was fraudulently acquired by the late Olusola Saraki – an allegation of the children of the late politician, including Gbemi and Bukola, passionately contest.
