FRSC Begins Nationwide Clamp Down On Fake Number Plates

The Federal Road Road Safety Corps commenced special operation to clamp down on illegal use of number plates and fake vehicle registration numbers on Monday February 3rd, 2025.

The Special operation targeted vehicles with fake registration numbers and illegal use of number plates by private, commercial, government and diplomatic vehicles.

The Operation was headed by the Assistant Corps Marshal in charge of Operation, ACM Hyginus Omeje along with the Assistant Corps Marshal in Charge of Motor Vehicle Administration, ACM Godwin Omiko.

ACM Hyginus informed the press that the operation is a nation wide clamp down targeted at enhancing the National Vehicles Identification Number data and to facilitate security across the Nation.
