Friends Host Ruggedman To Low Profile Birthday Bash, As Party Goers Reminiscence Tuface’s Lavish Celebration

Tuesday September 20 2011, Musician Ruggedman – real names Michael Stevens – will be a year older.

But contrary to expectations in some quarters, he won’t be around his base- Lagos- to celebrate.

Sources divulged that the acidic tongue rapper is schedule to be in Calabar, Cross River state on his birth date.

A couple of friends are said to have made arrangement to host him to a low profile ‘celebration’.

The venue of the gig is identified as Mirage Hotel.

For his fans and followers Ruggedman wants to celebrate with what he his known for- making songs.

Information from his camp revealed he intends to drop a single on his birth date- the title and glimpse of the content are guarded for now.

‘The suspense is part of the build up to the birthday celebration’ an insider explained to www.societynowng.com.

Further findings revealed though he would be away from his base on his birth date- Ruggedman and his crew have initiated moves to stage a couple of parties to sign post the period when he returns.

Already they are said to have almost concluded with the management of Victoria Island Lagos sited all night place of leisure, Excell to this end.

The upcoming birthday bash is being planned in conjunction with Mr Frank Okamigbo, the front person of Papas Entertainment.

Meanwhile talks of the lavish birthday party held in honor of the longest reigning musician of his generation, Tuface (Innocent Idibia) is speedily becoming the most discussed among party goers.

Held at Sleek fun spot, Lekki Lagos sources tagged it a lavish and deserving celebration of a wondrous lyricist. It was staged on Saturday September 18 2011- Tuface’s birth date.
