The Managing Director of Ecobank Nigeria – a subsidiary of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated – just caught many unawares.

He has resigned his appointment.

But the situation is being “correctly handled” by the stakeholders.

Kie would stay put until the end of August when his successor is announced.

The move is aimed at ensuring “a smooth handover” the bank’s stated in official communication.
