FirstBank Platforms Up & Running AFter 10hrs Maintenance Induced Breakdown

All FirstBank of Nigeria’s payment platforms are back and functioning.
This development comes after a ten-hour maintenance-induced breakdown.
The Bank with Adesola Adeduntan as Chief Exceutive Officer in the morning of Friday, March 3, 2023, notified customers of a “scheduled maintenance” across payment platforms that will affect services.
“We are running a scheduled maintenance on our platforms from 9:00 p.m. – 7 a.m. on 4 – 5 March 2023. We will be back up and ready for you from 7 a.m. ” the bank sent out to customers.
SocietyNow.Ng’s checks revealed before 9.00a.m on Sunday, March 5, 2023, First Bank notified customers that “All our platforms are now up and running to serve you better” and added ” Thank you for your patience.”.
Information at hand revealed that the Bank opted to carry out the “scheduled maintenance” that forced a 10-hour breakdown over the weekend to limit the “inconvenience” to customers.
