FG To Close All Unregistered Laboratories
made known by the Minister for State for Health
The Federal Government is planning to shut down all unregistered laboratories in the country.
This development was made known by the Minister for State for Health Joseph Ekumankama on Saturday.
This disclosure was made on the heels of a visit by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) to the Ministry of Health Headquarters, Abuja.
According to a press release issued by Ahmed Chindaya, the Director of Press Ministry of Health Minister Ekwumankama stated that”Policies would be formulated to help carry out their functions smoothly, geared towards achieving the mandate of Mr. President in the health sector.
“Henceforth, all laboratories must follow due process and ensure that they are registered with the MLSCN or risk being shut down as well”,
