Femi Otedola Yanked Off Forbes Rich List As Bossom Friend Aliko Dangote Retains No 1 Spot In Nigeria
According to forbes magazine there are only only three dollar-billionaires in Nigeria; Aliko Dangote, Folorunsho Alakija, and Mike Adenuga, founder of Globacom
Femi Otedola, the power behind Forte Oil reported fell off the list as a result of the plunge the share price of his company experienced.
But bossom friend Aliko Dangote retained number one spot in Nigeria despite losing nearly $3billion to devaluation of the Naira.
The 2017 rating values the wealth of 2017 of the three richest Nigerians as Dangote ($12.2 billion), Adenuga ($5.8 billion) and Alakija ($1.6 billion).
Globally are ranked 105, 250, and 1,290 respectively.
Otedola made the list in 2016 with a net worth of $1.8 billion.
Dangote is affirmed as Africa’s richest man while Alakija is acknowledged as the second richest black woman.
