Fayose, Ojudu In Face-Off Over Tinubu & Osinbajo

Emerging details have it that an interesting engagement played out in the Lagos residence of the deep pocket Lai Oriowo.

Former Senator Babafemi Ojudu and former Governor Ayodele Fayose were in a “face-off” over the 2023 presidential election.

The two politicians from Ekiti State were guests at an Itfar – breaking of Ramadan Fast – at the Government Reserved Area resident of the Aviation specialist with hands in construction and related businesses.

The information at hand revealed Fayose was so passionate and hard in his position against Ojudu and Osinbajo’s stance in the 2023 presidential election that the former quitted the engagement and adopted a very “reconciliatory” posture till he left the event.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo after a prolonged spell of wild speculations has declared his intention to run against his mentor and architect of his rise to political prominence Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the race to determine the next President of Nigeria. Osinbajo wants to beat Tinubu to secure the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential ticket.

Ojudu, also identified as a beneficiary of the Tinubu’s large-heartedness – before and after he gained political recognition – is at the forefront of Osinbajo’s campaign taking darkly colored shots at his benefactor in the process.

Fayose, a steadfast member of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) told Ojudu at Oriowo’s residence that what he and Osinbajo are doing to Tinubu is morally wrong and shouldn’t happen SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

Fayose in plenty words talked about biting the fingers that fed one added information revealed.

“There were other people there as well, and one or two media top guns and a larger percentage of them stood with Fayose and cited disloyalty and going against the ethos of expected good conduct though they all affirm it is within the rights of Osinbajo to contest and Ojudu to support him as enshrined in the constitution” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

“But Fayose was very outspoken against Ojudu and the manner he has gone about the campaign. He insisted though he remains a member of PDP and has no intention of leaving his party he can’t stand what Ojudu and Osinbajo are doing to Tinubu” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

Further checks revealed that though they have always been in different political parties, Fayose has always expressed admiration for the politics of Tinubu which has produced leaders across different spheres of human lives – particularly politics.

Ojudu is one of the aides of Vice President Osinbajo.
