Ex-Wife Chin’s Weighty Allegations Against Embattled Oluwo Of Iwo, Oba Adewale Akanbi Backfire

There are indications the damning allegations former Queen of Iwo Channel Chin slammed on her ex-husband, the Oluwo of Iwo Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi might have backfired.

Helpers who rallied round the former Queen when she was kicked out the palace along with her little son have started distancing themselves from the aggrieved Olori insiders disclosed.

Societynow.ng learned that many are not comfortable with “certain very intimate” disclosures she made during the interview being serialized by popular YouTube channel Asabeafrika.

And many are not happy with being publicly fingered in any way in the sordid affair – even those the queen painted in good light and tried to mask their identities.

“And you have to understand that most all the people that rallied round her when she was ejected from the palace acted based on trying to care for the Olori and to prevent the very mess that has unraveled…don’t forget these are people that got to know her as a result of her status as wife of Oluwo ” a source pointed out.

Insiders insist that these “helpers” are pulling their support in order not to be seen as “siding” with the former queen in the messy affair.

“But the reality is that a larger number of them are silently backing Oluwo in a guys code sort of way, not in support of what he allegedly did but support to help overcome a damaged image” socfactynow.ng learned.

Guys Code is the banding together of a group – male – to support one of their own, against an outsider, irrespective of the allegation at stake.

“But in this case, the belief that the Olori went overboard and the secret recordings which give a slant of a premeditated move to the weighty allegations gave Oluwo an edge with the helpers pulling their support from the former queen” a source stated.

Insiders further disclosed that what played a major part in the tide turning against Chin is the unfortunate hand fate dealt the former queen with Covid-19.

“The scandal dropped at a time when people that would have feasted on it and forced a major action against the Oluwo over it are preoccupied with staying alive and surviving the pandemic.

” And the lockdown has afforded Oluwo the opportunity to stay off the public radar, keep his mouth shut and make the whole thing a one-sided affair, with the serialized interviews forced off the public space as it drops with fresh news about Covid-19″ a source explained.
