Ex Lawmaker Gabriel Daudu Gets N4m Bail In Conviction For N1.4bn Fraud

Former state legislator Gabriel Daudu has secured a four million naira bail for his conviction for a N1.4billion fraud.

The Supreme court granted the former Kogi state House of Assembly the bail.

He was found guilty of 77 out of 208 counts by a Kogi state Hight Court and sentenced to two years on each of the counts.

The sentence was to run concurrently.

He had approached the appeal court to upturned the verdict but lost out – before he secured the N4million bail, two sureties who must be resident and have landed properties in Abuja at the Supreme court.
