Ex Governor Gbenga Daniel Shuns Late Father’s Church, Aladura’s Yearly Tabieorah Programme For The 2nd Year After Power

Immediate past Governor of Ogun State- Otunba Gbenga Daniel was again absent at the yearly Mount Tabieorah (Ogere, Ogun state) celebration of the Church of the Lord.

His father was a celebrated Pastor of the Christian sect more popularly known as Aladura.

And all the 8 years he was Governor of Ogun state- Otunba Gbenga Daniel was a part of the yearly celebration.

But immediately he got out of power, the reverse has been the case.

The first celebration he shunned was last year.
Gbenga Daniel Many had thought the development is a mere coincidence- but his absence again this year points to an emerging pattern.

The yearly Mount Tabieorah celebration, a 21 day payer programme of the Aladura church holds in the month of August.

This year’s theme is tagged ‘Testimony galore’

It is not clear why the former governor has decided to boycott the popular programme he was once a part of.

His late father an ardent advocate and Pastor of the church- died on Wednesday Dec 14 2012.
