Ex-Gov Ihedioha Sends Message Of Hope To Imo People
lost his seat through the court to incumbent Governor Hope Uzodinma
Former Governor Emeka Ihedioha has sent a message of hope to the people of Imo state.
Ihedioha lost his seat through the court to incumbent Governor Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The former Governor while playing host to members of his political party – People’s Democratic Party (PDP) – from Ngo Okpala at his residence in Mbutu Aronta Village, Mbaise Local Government in Imo state described the loss of his seat as a temporary setback.
The PDP chieftain insists that he is focused on the future after the January 14, 2020, Supreme Court verdict declared Uzodinma the Governor of Imo state.
He, however, gave Uzodinma’s government a very poor rating declaring that the Governor’s performance make Imo people yearn for the return of Ihedioha.
While urging his party men to go and canvass for more members, the former Governor declared “Be steadfast. Be patient. This suffering will not last forever. Soon, we will correct the problems and the masses will smile again,”
