The senator who suffered an international embarrassment with the decline of his credit card by London luxury hotel Mandarin Oriental at the check in point is said to have travelled to the United States of America over the weekend rather than return home.

Information credited to global concord revealed the former governor called his successor and incumbent governor of Akwa Ibom state, Emmanuel Udom over the weekend that contrary to expectations he would be prolonging his visit abroad to the United States of America rather than return home.

Additional information link the development to raging investigation into the affairs of the former governor that resulted in the discovery of a room filled with monies of different denomination at the Presidential Lodge of the Akwa Ibom Government by security operatives.

Investigating state agents are said to seek the Senator to shed light on some unclear arrears of their investigation.
