Ex Delta Gov Emmanuel Uduaghan Travels Abroad, As Incumbent Ifeanyi Okowa Goes After His Loyalists

Ex governor of Delta state, Emmanuel Uduaghan has journeyed out of the country.

He is currently abroad with his family source claim.

This development comes as increasing talks his loyalists are under attack hit town.

Information filtering about revealed new governor Ifeanyi Okowa is gunning for the heads of key supporters of the former state chief executive officer.

And his approach is described as devastating – ‘Okowa is taking away their means of livelihood’

Information revealed the Uduaghan loyalists are being booted out of government employment.

A classical case of the victims of the ongoing onslaught is revealed as Mr. Emmanuel Odafe Igbini, the boss of Direct Labour Agency.

‘He was unceremoniously sacked from his position as Director General of Agency’.

Odafe Igbini is a well known supporter of the politics and policies of ex governor Uduaghan.

Others like him suffered the same fate in the guise of a blanket dissolution State government agencies and boards of parastatals.
‘The move clearly targeted Uduaghan’s supporters because not all agencies were dissolved…those seen as Okowa’s people were retained along with agencies’ an inside divulged.

The political feud that has Uduaghan’s men at the receiving end started in determining the choice of the People’s Democratic Party flag bearer for the gubernatorial election that decided the former state helms man’s successor.

Based on the stronghold PDP has on the state, it’s candidate is seen as an automatic winner of the election.

But for reasons yet to become transparently apparent – Uduaghan didn’t favour Okowa
as his first or second choice.

The incumbent only emerged candidate after a last minute manouver that caught his predecessor flatfooted.

Investigation revealed the ongoing onslaught against Uduaghan’s men is Gov Okowa’s pay back- and attempt at ridding himself off supporters of his ‘enemies’ with tendencies to work against his progress.

He is believed to have pencilled down replacements that are passionate about him for the increasingly vacant positions.
