Ex Defence Minister, Erelu Olusola Obada “Holed up” In Abuja, As Fierce Looking Guards Disappear From Osun Residence

Supporters and faithfuls of former Minister of State for Defence, Erelu Olusola Obada in Osun state currently wonder about her whereabouts.

The People’s Democratic Party chieftain had built a ‘political structure’ of her own as a deputy governor in the state.

And continue to oil the machinery made up of growing following as Minister.

Her residences in Ibodi and Ilesha both in Osun state were said to play host to her large following.

”This is despite the presence of fierce looking guards in military gears’ a source claimed.

But all that is said to have changed with the arrival of a new administration.

Erelu Obada is said to have shunned her base for a prolonged spell now.

”She no more visits…she has kept off her residences in Osun state, her followers don’t even know where she is’ a source summed the situation.

Further revelation have it the ibodi and Ilesha residences are now bereft of presence of intimidating guards.

”The fierce looking guards have disappeared at the houses with the arrival of new government at the federal level…at first they stayed but with the swearing in of a new president not a single one remained” a source divulged.

Erelu Obada was Minister of state for defence in immediate past administration of ex president Goodluck Jonathan.

Digs by societynowng.com revealed since her loss of position along with the defeat of former President Goodluck Jonathan at the polls, the ex minister has ”holed up” in the nation’s federal capital territory – Abuja.

”She is in Abuja maintaining a very low profile” a source confirmed to societynowng.com

”I don’t known what her next plan is politically but judging from what I can see, she wants to stay off the scene for some time ” the source further revealed.

There are indications that her move to maintain a low profile might not be unconnected with attempt to stay off the radar of investigators scrutinising the past dealings of the ex President Jonathan administrations and top players in the government, especially those that dealt with security issues.

Former National Security Adviser in the administration is currently in detention for a web illegal transactions that has earned many high profile players arrest, detention and interrogations by anti graft agencies.
