The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Adewale Akanbi has declared that the president of America Donald Trump knows him.

Oluwo asserted while hosting the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi today, Friday, October 20, 2020.

The Alaafin paid a courtesy call at the palace of Oluwo as part of ongoing visitations to select kings.

Oluwo Akanbi while speaking on all the controversies surrounding him in his address to Alaafin urged those behind the talks to continue.

He declared that the controversies are making him popular home and abroad.

Oluwo declared he has become so popular that he even the president of America knows him.

“President America gan mo mi” (Even the President of America knows me) Oluwo declared.

The Iwo King attributes controversies surrounding his reign to the handiwork of enemies of his kingdom and was full of praises for Alaafin for identifying with him.

He severally hailed the Alaafin of Oyo as his father and declared he is praying and working to be as great and; even greater than the Alaafin.

Oluwo has been the subject of an unending crisis including a messy separation from his wife Queen Chanel Chin since he took the throne.

He is currently enmeshed in a deep seethed struggle – which has transformed into a court case – with Kingmakers over moves to dethrone him.
