EFCC Declares 74yr Old Goodie Ibru Wanted For Stealing, Capital Market Fraud, Conspiracy, Diversion Of Funds & Money Laundering
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has declared Mr Goodie Ibru, brother of late Guardian Publisher Alex Ibru wanted.
The anti corruption agency made this development public on it’s website today.
The posting that bears a picture of the man at logger heads with widow of his brother, Maiden over control of family properties spots the caption ‘’Wanted By EFCC’’.
The allegations for declaring him wanted are detailed as ‘’in connection with a case of conspiracy, capital market fraud, stealing, diversion of funds and money laundering’’.
The anti graft agency urged anybody with information about his whereabouts to get in touch with the commission.
The statement signed by spokes person Wilson Uwujaren provides specified numbers to call for information on sighting of the 74yr old.
He is also accused of diverting billions of naira and assets of Ikeja Hotels plc, owners of Sheraton Hotel, Lagos, Federal Palace Hotel and Capital Hotel, Owners of Sheraton Hotel Abuja to his person benefits in the statement issued by the commission declaring him wanted.
