EFCC Chairman Bawa’s Health Status Revealed After He Slumped In Abuja

The chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Abdulrasheed Bawa today slumped while delivering a speech at the Presidential Villa, Abuja according to information credited to Daily Trust Newspaper.

The anti-graft agency boss who was delivering a goodwill message at the National Identity Day celebration was immediately taken away for medical care according to reports on the incident.

In the face of widespread interest, the development is attracting the EFCC has revealed the health status of the chairman in the bid to address the situation.

The statement titled “Bawa Is Hale and Hearty” reads

“The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa is hale and hearty. This clarification became necessary following an incident today September 16, 2021 at the Presidential Villa, Abuja where he was giving a goodwill message to the National Identity Day celebration, felt unwell and had to return to his seat.

He has since received medical attention and is due back at his desk.”
