The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu has been suspended from office.

His suspension was approved by President Muhammadu Buhari according to emerging details.

This development comes into play as his interrogation over allegations of corruption raised by the Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Malami continues.

Magu has been in police custody since yesterday, July 6, 2020, after he was taken in traffic based on ‘’invitation’’ by Presidential probe panel on corruption.
