The truck conveying the live bullets fell into a ditch and spilled into contents onto the road information at hand revealed.

According to a report monitored by societynow.ng on dailypost.ng the incident transpired at the Akwa Road on Sunday morning (May, 9, 2021).

Worshipers on their way to church reportedly witnessed the scary scene.

An unnamed source quoted by the news platform reportedly stated ““The truck fell, and the entire street was full of bullets…”

Another reportedly disclosed how the situation was handled with the narrative that “The incident attracted heavy security presence to the Awka Road area and Shoprite axis of the city this morning. The police first arrived the area before soldiers came. They later brought a tipper, and used payloader to scoop bullets into the tipper.

“The Tipper had to make three trips to carry all the bullets to unknown destination before the truck was finally towed out of the ditch”

State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, reportedly stated he was unaware when he was reached.
