Details: Why President Tinubu Is Fond Of Gov Eno
“It is no secret in the corridors of power”
Insiders say President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has a strong liking for the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno.
Those in the know disclose that this affection stems from how the Governor relates with the President whenever they meet.
“The Governor accords him all the respect deserving of a father in his mode of greetings and form of interactions. And he most times speaks Yoruba with him,” sources say.

Insiders add that reports of how well Eno is managing the affairs of Akwa Ibom, which have reached Tinubu, have only strengthened the rapport between the two leaders.
“It is no secret in the corridors of power that President Tinubu is enthusiastic about Governor Eno and his administration, despite their belonging to different political parties,” sources reveal.

Tinubu is the leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), while Eno is the Governor on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Yet, they continue to collaborate—Eno to fulfill his campaign promises where Federal Government support is needed, and Tinubu to advance his Renewed Hope agenda for national development.
