Champion of everything positive about Africa, Tony Elumelu has reinforced the need for strong participation at this year’s edition of the UBA Group Africa Conversations in celebration of Africa Day.

The UBA Group Africa Conversation launched in 2019 aims at propelling the continent to a better place by providing fundamental solutions to Africa’s challenges.

This year’s edition named “Africa To The World” is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 12pm (West African Time) and will be held online.

Elumelu, the Chairman of United Bank for Africa (UBA) a leading pan-African financial institution offering banking services to more than twenty million customers globally and power behind the concept changing the narrative provided reinforced reason(s) as strong participation in this year’s edition with a glimpse into what to expect and untold depth into what it offers.

“This year’s theme “Africa to the World” will focus on fostering a strong and inclusive economic recovery post-COVID, with particular emphasis on the roles that government and private sector must play. With Africans holding significant roles at the WTO, the IFC and the WHO, I believe there is no better time to showcase  African excellence and prioritise issues facing the continent with the world’s youngest and fastest-growing population.” the extraordinary man of commerce stated in a recent post.

The event with registration portal as https://africaday.ubagroup.com/  will have Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda; Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General, World Trade Organization; Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General, World Health Organization (WHO), and Makhtar Diop, Managing Director, IFC – International Finance Corporation as panelist while Mr Elumule who is the founder of the  lives- changing The Tony Elumelu Foundation, Africa-based and African-funded philanthropic organization grooming Entrepreneurs across the continent will serve as moderator.
