Details: Shina Peller Gets New Appointment
dumped the APC to become the Senatorial candidate of the Accord Party
Shina Peller has secured a new appointment.
This is months after the Club Quilox owner failed in the bid to transform from a Federal House of Representatives member to a Senator.
The son of the late – and famous – magician, Professor Moshood Abiola Peller lost the bid to get the Senatorial ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 election.
He dumped the APC to become the Senatorial candidate of the Accord Party but lost election the February 25, 2023 election.
He has now been named a member of the organizing committee for the proposed Nigeria – Benin Investment Summit.
The summit will hold in Cotonou “after final consultations with relevant stakeholders” according to information released by the former Federal lawmaker.
“I’m saddled with the responsibility of coordinating and bringing in businessmen and women from Nigeria to attend event” he disclosed in a revelation monitored by SocietyNow.Ng.
According to Peller in a post announcing his appointment “Summit will provide a unique opportunity for researchers, policy makers and development practitioners from Nigeria, Benin republic and other parts of Africa, to debate development and the policies required to eradicate poverty in the context of the Post 2015 Africa Developmental Agenda in particular with a focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).”
The former House of Representatives member disclosed that he met with the Minister for Trade and Commerce for Republic of Benin, Madame Shadiya Alimatou Assouman on the Summit during the country’s recent 63rd Independence Anniversary where President Bola Tinubu, was a Special Guest of Honour.
