Bandits have struck at a private university making away with a yet-to-be ascertained number of students.

The Bandits were said to be heavily armed and carried out their nefarious activities on the night of Tuesday, April 20, 2021.

They reported invaded Greenfield University, Kaduna, and made away with some students.

A report monitored by societynow.ng on dailypost.ng quoted former Senator Shehu Sanni on the development.

According to the report Sani who represented Kaduna Central at the Senate posted on his verified social media (Twitter) handle “The fresh report that Bandits have attacked and kidnapped many students at the Greenfield University along Kaduna-Abuja road is yet another tragedy.
“Proprietors of schools within this axis need to read the signs. Even most of us have abandoned our farms to the care of God,”

This development comes in the face of the refusal of State Governor Nasir El-Rufai to negotiate with bandits for the release of their victims
