Details: Ex-President To Be Celebrated With Overnight Palm Wine Party
Some five hundred guests are penciled to attend
Arrangements for a major celebration are on.
The man to be celebrated is the most respected Nigerian leader outside the country, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
The celebration is being planned as an overnight even with plenty of palm wine to luxury in.
The organizers of the celebration are members of the Kegites (Palm Wine drinkers club) and the event is meant to celebrate the 85th birthday of the former President.
Though the African leader’s birthday falls on Saturday, March 5, 2022, the Kegites Club has secured an understanding to “host” the former Commander-In-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
According to information available to SocietyNow.Ng post-birthday celebration will hold inside the popular OOPL center (Abeokuta, Ogun State) owned by the celebrant.

The event that is labeled the “85th Birthday Gyration” of Obasanjo is, however, not just about food and palm wine.
SocietyNow.Ng learned that a lecture focusing on moral decadence among youths and the need to respect culture and related values will hold before the party begins.
Added revelation has it that the former president and organizers of the event met on Thursday, February 3, 2020, in Abeokuta, Ogun State to agree on some of the grey areas regarding the event.
Chief Olusegun Aremu Mathew Okikiola Obasanjo is a grand patron of the Kegites of Club.
