Details: Dramatic Nora Johnson’s Accomplices Refund Substantial Fund As N1Billion Fraud Case Takes Damning Turn

The N1billion fraud case against Nora Olumide Johnson, the lady in the viral video of EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) carrying out a temporary forfeiture order has taken a damning turn.
Emerging details revealed that have it that her accomplices and co-respondents have refunded a “substantial fund” as part of efforts to make the case go away.
This latest substantial payment adds to the N507million refunded before they reneged and the court granted a forfeiture order.
Nora Johnson refunded N100m on account of her involvement in the fraud to the EFCC, some of the conspirators in the years-long racket refunded N400m, another accused person refunded N7m on behalf of Nora Johnson before the EFCC secured a temporary forfeiture order after they refused to continue to refund the estimated loss they caused.
Societynow.ng gathered that the latest refund of the “substantial fund’ by the accomplices comes in the face of the uncovering of other properties owned by Ms Johnson.
According to fresh information, it has been discovered that Nora “has five stately properties in Lagos and a palatial mansion in Freetown, Sierra Leone.”
Added revelation has it that there is a strong possibility of linking the properties to the fraud perpetrated at her former place of employment.



Ms Johnson was a former staff of a business owned by definition of commerce, Mike Adenuga.
She, along with her accomplices are accused of perpetrating the alleged mega fraud in the guise of “inflating air ticket fares and over-invoicing on purchases of vehicles”.
The others listed in the ongoing case are Babajide Aremu Johnson, Olabose Ibrahim Falobi, Steve Nnamdi Izebu, Steve Ibem and Bakoliza Limited.
Societynow.ng gathered that in the face of the latest twist in the case, Ms Johnson who initially resorted to what is widely labeled “poor attempt at emotional blackmail” with the leaked video has reached out to notable names to intervene in the matter for a “peaceful resolution”.
