Details: Babatunde ‘’BOG’’ Gbadamosi Emerges Main Challenger To Ex – Polaris Bank CEO Tokunbo Abiru’s In Bye- Election To Determine Bayo Osinowo’s Successor

Babatunde Gbadamosi who is better known as BOG has emerged as the People’s Democratic Party candidate (PDP) for the Lagos East Senatorial bye-election.

The development throws up Gbadamosi as the main challenger to Tokunbo Abiru, the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC).

Abiru, the immediate past Chief Executive Officer is seen as the favorite based on his party’s stronghold on the politics of Lagos State in the election scheduled for October 31, 2020.

Many see the election as very vital for the continuing relevance of Gbadamosi who is a serial gubernatorial contender in the politics of Lagos State.

The bye-election became necessary as a result of the death of Bayo Osinowo the politician popularly known as Pepper in a failed struggle with the pandemic, Covid-19.
