Ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar has unveiled ”Nigeria’s best 60th Anniversary gift.”

The People’s Democratic Party’s chieftain who has declared interest in having another go at becoming the president of Nigeria in the 2023 election says the nation’s best 60th-anniversary gift is the win by mixed martial artist Israel Adesanya.

Atiku who is a constant critic of the policies of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration posted ‘’ Israel Adesanya just handed Nigeria its best 60th independence anniversary gift. Congratulations, champion #UFC253’’ with a picture of the fighter wearing his champion’s belt.

Adesanya popularly called the ‘’last style bender’’ retained his UFC (Ultimate Fighting Champion ) Middleweight Champion Belt with a second-round knockout of Paul Costa early this morning, Sunday, September 27, 2020, in Abu Dhabi.

The win stretched Adesanya’s undefeated run to 20 fights.

Though he fights New Zealand professional mixed martial artist, Nigerian born Adesanya always identifies with the country of his birth – including flying the Nigerian flag his fights.
