Details As Sisi Yemmie Speaks At ALAT ’s Talk Series Today

Yemisi Odunsanya, (popularly known as Sisi Yemmie), one of Africa’s biggest lifestyle vloggers and content creators, has been confirmed to speak at the first session of the Talk Series hosted by ALAT by Wema, Nigeria’s leading digital bank.

At the ALAT Talk Series, young Nigerians will get an opportunity to discuss key issues such as money and finance, as well as business management, and entrepreneurship. The first session of the series themed, “Wealth Creation and Wealth Management for Nigerians Under 30” will hold today, Thursday, July 15, 2021, at 4 pm, on the social networking application, Clubhouse. At the end of this session, attendees are expected to be equipped with valuable skills and information that will help them to create, build, and manage their wealth.

Yemisi Sophie Odunsanya graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the Igbinedion University, Okada. She obtained a master’s degree in International Diplomacy from the University of Birmingham, and she also holds a Diploma in Internal Communications from London’s PR Academy.

Odunsanya was an Estate Administrator at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Foundation Trust, and later took up the role of Mortgage and Insurance Advisor at the United Kingdom’s National Building Society. Dissatisfied, she took up YouTube vlogging in 2014 and she’s currently one of Africa’s biggest lifestyle influencers. With nearly  600,000 subscribers on her  YouTube channel, SisiYemmieTV, she creates content on food recipes, parenting, relationships, and travel.

Odunsanya won the award for Blogger of the Year at the 2014 ELOY Awards and the 2015 City People Entertainment Awards. In 2017, she clinched the ELOY Award for Female YouTuber of the Year. In 2018, she was profiled by CNN as one of “the women who are cashing in on social media.” Earlier this year, she published her first cookbook titled, “A Time To Eat” which has over 30 new recipes.

This session will be moderated by Tosin Olaseinde, Founder of Money Africa, who will be speaking on “Financial Literacy.” Olusegun Adeniyi, Chief Digital Officer Of Wema Bank, is another speaker to look out for at this session. He will discuss how young Nigerians can use tech to generate wealth.

ALAT by Wema has continually shown support for young Nigerians across the country through various youth-friendly initiatives, including a partnership with SociaLiga and the ALAT Food Challenge campaign.
