Details As Gboyega Isiaka, Yayi Merge Forces In Ogun Guber Fight

Emerging details have it that shining lights of sectional ambition to governor Ogun state, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka and Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola are about to work together to actualize the dream of Yewa.

This is despite the fact that Isiaka popularly known as GNI and Adeola better known as Yayi are members of different political parties.

Insiders however disclosed “there are putting party affiliation aside to achieve the dream of their clan”.

Yewa, a part of Ogun West is yet to produce the Governor of Ogun state.

Incumbent Governor Ibikunle Amosun has thrown his weight behind the agitation of the section to produce the next state helmsman.

But the minority area is currently littered with aspirants dimming the chances of getting block votes – that is far from enough – from the zone.

Popular candidate Yayi is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, but Governor Amosun has vowed that an indigenous politician, member of his caucus would succeed him and not a Senator from Lagos backed by his rival.

Adeola’s ambition is allegedly being sponsored by powerful politician with the seat of power in Lagos, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Tinubu and Amosu are locked in an intense power struggle at the Federal Level – of party and government.

Sources disclosed Isiaka on his part is fighting for relevance within the People’s Democratic Party in a terrain with party structure already in the hands of a more formidable opponent.

“This is the situation that is forcing Yayi and GNI to work together” an insider disclosed.
