Details As Ex-Gov Audu’s Sons ‘’Mohammed & Mustapha’’ Refuse To Back Down For Each Other In Intense Battle For APC Guber Ticket In Kogi State

The two sons of the former governor of Kogi State Abubakar Audu are in the race to determine the ruling All Progressives Congress party’s flag bearer for the November gubernatorial election in Kogi state.

Societynow.ng learned that Mohammed – the elder – and Mustapha (younger) have refused to step down for each other.

This is despite passionate pleas from other members of the late Audu political family on the need to produce a much needed united front for the party’s gubernatorial shadow election fixed for August 29.

Societynow.ng learned that this development is against the backdrop that Yahaya Audu, a brother to the late governor Audu is also gunning for the same gubernatorial ticket the brothers are interested in.

The investigation conducted by societynow.ng revealed that with the way things stand, the Audu political family looks set to fight for the APC gubernatorial ticket divided against the all out to win at all cost incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello.

‘’And this is taking into account the interests of other aspirants like Jibrin Usman, Sani Lulu Abdullahi, and Seidu Mohammed Ogah’’ a source pointed out.
