Details As EFCC’s Interrogation Of Ex FIRS Boss Babatunde Fowler Enters Day 2

Details available to societynow.ng revealed that the interrogation of former Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) Chairman Babatunde Fowler at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is far from over.

Insiders disclosed that after a questioning session that ran late into the night yesterday, November 2, 2020 Fowler returned to the Commission’s Lagos office early morning today, November 3, 2020, to continue his interrogation.

Insiders disclosed that Fowler is undergoing investigation for over myriads allegations of allegations and petitions including alleged involvement in corruption allegations rocking tax collection firm, Alpha Beta Consulting.

He is a former helmsman of the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) alleged to have aided the defrauding of the Lagos State government on internally generated revenue according to disclosures made by former Alpha Beta Managing Director Oladapo Apara.

Fowler’s questioning by EFCC operatives started yesterday when he honored invitation to shed light on grey arears relating to on going investigations and allegations against him.
