Details: All First Bank Branches To Open On Saturday & Sunday

The financial institution, First Bank says all its branches will open on Saturday and Sunday to help customers beat the January 31, 2023 deadline for using old Naira notes.

The old Naira notes of the denominations N200, N500, and N1000 will cease to be legal tender on January 31, 2023 as the redesigned Naira notes – by the Central Bank of Nigeria – of the same denominations replace them.

“This is to notify the general public that all our branches will be open on Saturday and Sunday just to receive cash.” First Bank stated in a brief statement.

“Just to receive cash” indicates that is the sole objective of the opening of the bank’s branches on Saturday, January 28, and Sunday, January 29, 2023.
