Defeated Aspirant Adijat Olaleye Shuts Down Empowerment Centres!

Defeated gubernatorial aspirant, Adijat Olaleye Oladapo has shut down her skills acquisition and empowerment centres.

Societynowng.com learnt that the politician elected twice as a State House of Assembly member perfected this move just weeks after she lost election to attain higher office.

Oladapo had contested to become a Federal House of Representatives member.

She lost the election- and reportedly collapsed and was hospitalised over the shock of her defeat.

And in what appears to be a reality check move, she is said to have started cutting down on money gulping ventures.

And topping the list appear to the empowerment centres.

The centres were reportedly set up to provide information technology skills – free of charge- for people of her Ifo 11 state constituency, Ogun state.

The centres confirmed as two in numbers are situated in different axis of Akute/ Ajuwon were fully funded by Olaleye.

Findings revealed the politician initiated the closure on the premise of a four month ‘renovation’ shut down.

‘she told the teachers and students and all staff to go home and that hopefully she would call them back to resume in four months…she said she wants to renovate the place, though i don’t understand what that means..but it is clear what is in the afloat, funding the place without government income would be a herculean task’ an involved stakeholder opened up.

The empowerment centres are said to be permanently under lock and key with no sign of renovation days after closures were effected.
