Days After Famuyide “Jagu” The Mastermind of Attack On Omisore’s Home Remains Underground

11 days after the attack on the home of Otunba Iyiola Omisore the mastermind Akindele Famuyide popularly called Jagu has remained underground, investigation conducted by societynow.ng has revealed.

And according to sources he went underground immediately the police were invited to investigate and arrest him over his role in the invasion of the home of his estranged boss.

Senator Omisore’s home is located in Parakin area of Ile-Ife, Osun State.

The attack on his residence was in the afternoon of Monday, July 8, 2019.

It was carried out by street supporters of the now “wanted” Jagu who invaded the home of the former senator to avenge the treatment meted out on him on the order of Sogo Agboola, a former customs officer.

Jagu was said to have personally coordinated the invasion by his boys that came in two 18 seater buses wielding all sort of weapons and inflicted injuries on Sogo Agboola among other guests of the one time deputy governor of Osun State.

The crisis actually started when Mr Agboola ordered the tyres of the vehicle Jagu came in be deflated insisting he shouldn’t have joined them in celebrating the victory of governor Oyetola at the supreme court on the ground that he is a traitor, earlier report on societynow.ng indicated.

Akindele Famuyide Jagu formerly the head of street muscles of Senator Omisore became estranged with his ex-boss when he worked against his former principal’s interest during the last national assembly election.

Finding showed Jagu is currently on the wanted list of Osun State Police Command while manhunt for his arrest continues.

Though three of his boys are already in police custody, an insider disclosed.

“They are yet to arrest him… The police are still on his trail. You know three of his boys were arrested that very day. But he’s the main person they are looking for. And I am sure they will soon get him”, a source who is familiar with the case maintains.
