Dayo Bush Refutes Strange Ailment Story

A fresh story just hit town about the person of federal lawmaker- Dayo Alebioshu.

The development was woven around a purported strange ailment concerning his being- and the representative of Kosofe Federal constituency doesn’t find the occurence funny.

He reacted to the news break with this press statement made available to societynowng.com

‘ My attention has been brought to the report on my personality with the title- HON. DAYO BUSH-ALEBIOSU HITS BY STRANGE AILMENT.

Initially, I wanted to ignore all the contents
Dayo Bush of this malicious, biased and sponsored write-up about me but on a second thought and after conferring with my family and team of Legal Advisers, I deemed it necessary to write to put the record straight because all the contents as published in this alleged and purported news were mere tissues of lies, absolute distortions and fictions. To say the least, it’s an in-human and demeaning publication that only God can adequately reward its architects and sponsors.

‘It is too un-imaginable that no news media in Nigeria has been able to report the malicious publications if TRULY, I HAD NOT JOINED MY COLLEAGUES FOR SEVERAL MONTHS DUE TO A STRANGE AILMENT.

I had participated actively in the process of Lawmaking for the general well-being of this great country. Only in the early part of June, I moved a motion titled- ‘Motion to direct the management of Dana Airlines to ensure full compliance to the Montreal Convention on Aviation liability and the Civil Aviation Act of 2006.’ This motion was widely reported by all media in Nigeria –both Print and Broadcast with videos and pictures of my lead presentation all over the place. The support accorded by my distinguished colleagues on the floor, my constituents at Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos as well as the millions of Nigerians was indeed awesome, a consequence of which the Airline immediately fast-tracked the payment of initial 30% as stipulated by law to families of the crash victims. I had actively and with vigour, commitment and sheer passion, participated in my oversight functions in all the committees I had served in the past and still serving. So, where this online medium got this farce and fiction called new story, is still a mystery not only to me but to millions of Nigerians.My Chairmanship of the House of Representatives Committee on Treaties and Protocols has really been a blessing to the treaty signing procedure of the Federal Government. Very soon, you shall see the strides we have made in rectifying g all the irregularities and gross shortcomings of the recent past. A lawmaker who has been stricken by a strange ailment could not have achieved this.

‘The assertion that a senior Family member gave out this information with the sole-aim of getting solution to the ailment was only a figment of the imagination.

‘You don’t seek solution to a challenge that does not arise and I am categorical that the publication was sponsored to malign my reputation and cause disaffection in my family.

The publication’s attribution of the cause of the imaginary strange ailments to alleged political differences in Kosofe Federal Constituency is also another fiction. There was never a rivalry in the Federal Constituency on who represents them.

‘ My father truly is a foremost leader not only within the Federal Constituency, but in Lagos State as he has been a pillar of support to the emergence of sound governance and leadership in the state. Suffice to say my records as a Special Assistant on Housing to the National Leader of ACN, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu really propped me for greater challenges and led to my emergence as the representative of the good people of Kosofe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. There was never a time I served as a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly as wrongly told.
